- I’m not sure why politicians agree to such absurd appearances and interview requests (this late in the game saying “no,” to anyone looks bad I suppose) but check this out: Barack on The Daily Show, McCain scheduled for SNL, Barack doing fantasy football with Rick Reilly and both men at halftime on Monday Night Football.
- According to some young academic, celebrity influence can possibly have a measurable influence on an election. So… Ra Ra Riot donated music (as did some other bands) to the Barack cause.
- If a spin-off with Daisy from Rock of Love can take off, this site has a future. Introducing Stuff Journalists Like.
- Finally, one more journalism link: Maybe losing a few inches means some saved finances in this economy. Otherwise I don’t know why Rolling Stone dropped it’s iconic ‘zine size.
